Richardson Swift staff support Saltford Santa Dash

Congratulations to Dave Hull on successfully completing the Saltford Santa Dash on Sunday 7th December.

The Saltford Santa Dash is a fun run community event where runners, jogger and walkers complete a 5 mile course around Keynsham and Saltford dressed in an obligatory Santa outfit.

For 2014, the event was organised in support of two charities:

CLIC Sargent - the UK’s leading cancer charity for children, young people and their families, and
The Ellen Macarthur Cancer Trust – a national organisation that takes young people sailing to help them regain confidence on their way to recovery from cancer, leukaemia and other serious illness.

The two charities were selected this year to help Corey Clifton, a local teenager. Corey is wishing to raise money for these charities to enable them to continue to provide the support and care to others such as he has received in recent months.

Dave Hull has been training for the run over the last few months and had the following comment to make:

“I had a great time running in the Santa Dash at the weekend. It was a really well organised event and a good way to get in the Festive mood, with Santas of all ages taking part. It will certainly be on my list to do this again next year!”
